Nexus is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing both the clinical and administrative functions of the facility while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a positive workplace culture.
Position Overview:
As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the facility while maintaining a strong focus on resident care and team development. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about long-term care and committed to creating an environment where residents and employees can thrive.
Key responsibilities:
Overseeing all day-to-day facility operations, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions Leading and supporting department heads and interdisciplinary teams Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Promoting high standards of resident care, safety, and quality outcomes Managing facility budgets, operational performance, and census development Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and community partners Supporting employee engagement, retention, and professional development Creating and maintaining a positive, collaborative workplace culture Ensuring the facility operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of care

Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Current and valid Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the State of Illinois 3 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple departments and priorities Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach Commitment to excellence in long-term care and resident satisfaction #IND123
