The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic, business-savvy leader to step into the role of Assisted Living Director . As the operational leader of our assisted living department, you will be the captain of the ship. You will manage day-to-day operations, drive staff culture, balance the budget, and oversee resident services to ensure our community sets the standard for high-quality senior care and hospitality in the region.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership:
Manage the day-to-day business operations of the assisted living department, ensuring the community is safe, welcoming, well-maintained, and operating smoothly.
People & Culture:
Lead, mentor, and supervise your team. You will drive recruitment, handle scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels, and champion onboarding and continuous training.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the department is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing assisted living environments.
Resident Care Oversight:
Work closely with our nursing team to ensure the development of resident-centered care plans and seamless coordination with physicians and families.
Fiscal Responsibility:
Oversee the department budget, managing expenses and resources without sacrificing the high quality of care and hospitality our residents deserve.
Qualifications The Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of proven leadership or management experience specifically within an Assisted Living, Residential Care, or Senior Living setting.
Regulatory Know-How:
Strong, working knowledge of Indiana state regulations governing assisted living environments.
The Skillset:
Sharp organizational abilities, experience navigating operational budgets, and a collaborative communication style that inspires a team.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (equivalent direct leadership experience will be considered).
