This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in senior and memory care, and a comprehensive understanding of assisted living and nursing home environments. As a key member of our management team, you will foster a compassionate, safe, and efficient environment for residents with diverse needs, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' quality of life while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the nursing home or assisted living community, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' specific needs, including memory care and dementia support. Supervise clinical staff, including nurses, caregivers, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable operations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Coordinate medication administration processes in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Lead efforts in quality assurance initiatives to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction. Maintain effective communication with residents' families and external healthcare providers. Implement policies related to home & community care services and manage group home or retirement home operations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through staff training and development. Qualifications Valid license as a Nursing Home Administrator or equivalent certification required. Extensive experience in nursing home management or senior care facilities. Proven supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of assisted living, memory care, Alzheimer's care, and dementia support strategies. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Demonstrated expertise in operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen within healthcare environments. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills combined with effective communication abilities. Background in social work or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
