  • Full-time $50,000
  • $65,000 a year
  • Full-time Assisted Living RN Manager Glenview, IL This is not a floor position.
If you are an RN who has outgrown bedside work and wants to lead clinical operations inside one of the Chicago area's most established and respected continuing care communities, keep reading. This faith-based, not-for-profit CCRC has deep roots in the North Shore suburban market and has served its residents and the surrounding community for more than 50 years. Residents move through independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing without ever leaving the campus. That continuum matters to clinical leaders because your work does not exist in isolation. You are part of an integrated care ecosystem with real interdisciplinary depth. What the Assisted Living RN Manager Will Lead You will have operational and clinical ownership of the assisted living program. You will direct nursing coverage, oversee individualized care planning, manage regulatory compliance, and serve as the clinical authority for a population of residents who want support, not institutionalization. You will partner closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary leadership across the continuum. Your day will include care plan oversight, staff mentorship, coordination with on-site therapy, and direct engagement with residents and families at key transition points. The Assisted Living RN Manager sets the clinical tone for the AL neighborhood and is the standard-bearer for care quality across the program. Who Fits the Assisted Living RN Manager Role The right candidate holds an active Illinois RN license and brings at least three years of progressively responsible clinical leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or a CCRC setting. You are not looking for a job. You are looking for a community with a mission you can invest in and a team that expects clinical excellence. You understand care planning, staffing ratios, state AL regulations, and what it means to lead nurses, not just manage schedules. You communicate clearly with families. You know how to partner with dietary, therapy, and social services without creating territorial friction. Why This Community Is the Right Home for an Assisted Living RN Manager This community has a long track record, strong employee retention, and a culture that residents and families describe as warm and genuinely caring. The organization is not-for-profit, which means clinical decisions are not filtered through occupancy pressure. The Assisted Living RN Manager will have the support of a seasoned interdisciplinary leadership team in an environment where clinical voice carries weight. The North Shore setting offers quality of life, proximity to Chicago, and a demographic of residents who are engaged, active, and appreciative. Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, retirement, and continuing education support. To Be Considered for the Assisted Living RN Manager Position This search is being conducted by Aspen Associates Group, an executive search firm specializing exclusively in senior care leadership placement. Inquiries are held in strict confidence. INDAG3
