We have several opportunities available for nurses looking to transition into operations leadership and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors. We are seeking an innovative, results-driven leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional care within the senior living industry. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and strategic direction of the community, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, census growth, and a positive team culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN or LPN who is interested in advancing into an operations leadership role. Position Overview The Executive Director provides executive-level oversight of all community operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of care aligned with the organization's mission, values, and commitment to resident-centered service. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for community operations, ensuring excellence in quality, service, and resident experience. Oversee financial performance, including budget development, expense management, and fiscal accountability. Meet or exceed occupancy, revenue, and operational goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance management. Establish and implement operational standards and best practices to drive consistency and excellence across the community. Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Illinois Supportive Living regulations and applicable Medicaid programs. Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive census growth, community outreach, and market visibility. Collaborate with corporate leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business development plans. Analyze operational data, key performance indicators, and trends to identify opportunities and implement effective solutions. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in senior living operations. Qualifications Current RN or LPN license preferred. Property management and senior living leadership experience strongly preferred. Supportive Living leadership experience preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of senior living or healthcare operations leadership experience preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the healthcare industry required. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. In-depth knowledge of Illinois Supportive Living regulations and compliance requirements. Proven leadership, team-building, and employee development skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, drive accountability, and achieve operational goals. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
