Job Description

We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our community with energy, accountability, and heart. This is an opportunity for a strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building teams, driving results, and creating an exceptional resident experience. What You'll Do As the Executive Director, you will serve as the leader of the community — responsible for overall operations, financial performance, team development, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations across all departments including clinical support services, dining, housekeeping, maintenance, and life enrichment Ensure the community operates in alignment with Illinois Supportive Living Program (SLP) guidelines and maintains continuous survey readiness Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and frontline staff, fostering a resident-centered, service-driven culture Manage Medicaid waiver participation , census mix, and occupancy goals Drive census growth through collaboration with admissions, hospital partners, and community outreach efforts Maintain strong oversight of budget, labor management, and P&L performance Support care coordination while promoting resident independence and choice Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners Ensure a hospitality-forward environment that feels welcoming, engaging, and safe What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or community leader in Supportive Living, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing. Strong understanding of the Supportive Living model — including the balance of social care, clinical oversight, and independence. Experience working with Medicaid populations and waiver programs is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage both operations and financial performance. A leader who is visible, hands-on, and team-oriented. Knowledge of Illinois regulations for supportive or long-term care settings. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with residents, families, and staff. What We Offer Very Competitive salary, based on years of experience.
