Position Summary Vannoni Living Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and engaging Activity Director to lead and implement a comprehensive resident activities program. This role is responsible for developing and coordinating programs that support the residents at Vannoni Living Center. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors through meaningful engagement and programming.

What You'll Do:

Plan, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to resident needs and interests Lead group activities, one-on-one interactions, and special events Organize indoor/outdoor activities, community outings, and wellness programs Develop and post a monthly activity calendar in a visible and accessible format Encourage resident participation and adapt activities based on abilities and preferences Develop and update individualized activity goals as part of the care plan Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and organized storage areas Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members Assist with activity department budgeting and supply management Promote a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment for residents

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required Must complete (or be willing to complete) the ISDH-required Activity Director Course within the designated timeframe Prior experience in activities, senior living, healthcare, or social services preferred Experience working with elderly or disabled populations strongly preferred Candidates must have basic to intermediate computer skills and be comfortable using email, Microsoft Office applications, and web-based software systems. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, patient, and engaging personality Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to assist with resident movement as needed Ability to travel for community outings and events Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Why Join Vannoni Living Center?
