Drive Excellence in Senior Living. Ginger Cove, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Annapolis, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead our licensed healthcare services. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living operations. You'll partner closely with clinical and executive leadership to ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory excellence, and strong operational performance. What You'll Do:
Direct daily operations across Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living Ensure efficient, compliant, and high-performing healthcare service delivery Partner with the Director of Nursing and department leaders to align clinical and operational goals Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS requirements Maintain continuous survey readiness and lead all state surveys, audits, and plans of correction Oversee adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and safety standards Lead and oversee the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) program Monitor clinical quality indicators, identify trends, and implement corrective actions Ensure delivery of person-centered care that meets medical, nursing, and psychosocial needs Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and risk mitigation strategies Ensure resident rights, dignity, and quality of life are consistently upheld Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for healthcare services Oversee staffing models, labor management, and cost controls Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency while maintaining care quality Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and interdisciplinary teams Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and retention Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and community stakeholders Support occupancy and admissions efforts in partnership with sales/marketing Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and healthcare partner Participate in emergency planning and serve as a key leader during emergency situation Address and resolve resident and family concerns in a timely and professional manner Support specialized programming, including memory care and individualized service planning Why Join Ginger Cove?

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Gerontology, or related field (Master's preferred). Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license required. Current Assisted Living Manager certification or ability to obtain. Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in a senior living, CCRC, or healthcare environment, including oversight of skilled nursing operations. Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, CMS regulations, and long-term care requirements. Experience with Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance programs. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare environment. Strong financial management, budgeting, and operational analysis skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with electronic health records, operations software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
