Searching for an individual with specialzied nursing credentials Brief Job Summary Manage the day-to-day resident care operations to ensure resident's healthcare needs are met. Works closely with the Campus Administrator and directs the Resident Care Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with State regulations and Ganton Senior Communities Policies and Procedures. Essential Functions Along with the Campus Administrator, oversees and ensures the recruitment and retention of qualified resident care staff throughout the campus, as evidenced by good morale, enthusiasm, team spirit, and dedication to the residents and their families. Provides direct supervision over all aspects of resident care. Along with the Campus Administrator, provides training and education to resident care staff on an ongoing basis. Creates bi-weekly resident care staffing schedules. Conduct bi-weekly payroll for resident care staff. Track OT and Mandation for payroll purposes. Assigns duties for resident care and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Participates in community functions, including family socials and open houses. Works to resolve issues identified by residents and/or their family members. Develops and conducts service plan reviews, as required by state codes, with appropriate resident care team members and resident families. Oversees the audits of resident charts and the medication room. Ensures that the resident care department is in compliance with all state regulations in terms of medication management and resident care. Will meet with the Campus Administrator on a regular basis to provide verification of compliance. Conducts assessments for admissions and screening of prospective residents. Oversees the care coordination of residents Trains resident care staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines resident care staff; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
