Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Supervisor for the Adult Mental Health Services Department, is responsible for administration of the functions outlined under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) of 1987, including Pre-Admission Screening and Annual Resident Review (PAS/ARR) and specialized services to nursing home residents with a serious mental illness and/or an intellectual/developmental disability. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit, including but not limited to, management of personnel, monitoring & evaluating program operations, budgetary considerations, and ensuring effective cross-collaborative efforts amongst agency and community programs, in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college/university is required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. At least three years of work experience with individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities is required. At least one year of work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position is required. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Access to reliable transportation is required. Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external providers required. Must be philosophically committed to community-based treatment and have strong advocacy skills.
Salary/Hours:
Starting salary $66,711-$77,605 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $99,689 per year. 40 hours per week. Regular Full-Time.
