About us Quest, Inc. is a non
- profit organization that provides support services for persons with special needs to promote inclusion, maximize independence, and improve quality of life in a variety of settings in three southern Michigan counties. These services include staffing, housing, accessible transportation, advocacy, socialization, respite services, and many others. ```Duties```
- Oversee the daily operations of a group home or residential care facility for individuals with developmental disabilities and physical challenges.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of caregivers and support staff
- Implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Coordinate and monitor medication administration, in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and update care plans as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, incidents, and medication administration
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for AFC Homes. ```Skills```
- Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and physical challenges.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing operations in an AFC home
- Knowledge of care planning processes and ability to help develop individualized care plans
- Proficient in medication administration practices and familiar with county and state regulations regarding medication management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively
