Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and experience Executive Director to lead our non profit assisted living community in providing exceptional care and service to older adults. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and mission-driver leadership of our organization. This role requires a passionate leader who combines healthcare expertise with nonprofit management to ensure our resident receive compassionate, dignified care while maintaining financial sustainability.
Operational Tasks:
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the organization's mission and values Provide visionary leadership to advance the community's reputation and impact in senior care Foster a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement throughout the organization Lead board relations and serve as the primary liaison between staff and the board of directors Operations Management Oversee all aspects of daily operations including resident care, dining services, maintenance, and administrative functions Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including state licensing requirements, and safety standards Maintain high standards of care quality and resident satisfaction through regular monitoring and improvement initiatives Implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life Financial Stewardship Assist with managing annual budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability Monitor financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet budgetary goals Develop revenue strategies including grants and fundraising Human Resources Leadership Provide leadership development and professional growth opportunities for management team Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet regulatory requirements and quality care standards Foster positive employee relations Community Relations & Development Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization Build and maintain relationships with healthcare partners, community organizations, and referral sources Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain optimal occupancy levels Lead fundraising efforts and donor relations to support mission-critical programs and capital improvements Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards Maintain risk management and emergency preparedness programs Along with the Director of Nursing, participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
