Position Summary:
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) has responsibility for the operation of GlenFields, Orchard Estates, and identified ancillary departments. The LNHA oversees the following departments: long term care nursing, long term care life enrichment, nutrition services, and Orchard Estates. The LNHA manages assigned departments, participates in administrative decision-making, long-range planning, risk management, quality improvement, service excellence, and resident relations. Ensure state and federal guidelines and regulations are followed and ensure the highest degree of quality care. Analyzes and evaluates resident care services rendered; and delegates administrative and/or supervisory responsibilities to professional management staff.
Education and Experience:
Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator by the state of Minnesota. Minimum of 3 years Nursing Home Administrator experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Professional knowledge of long-term care, senior living, nutrition services, and environmental services. Advanced interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with a wide variety of influential nursing home personnel, community residents and outside agency officials when handling highly sensitive issues, gathering and exchanging information, and promoting and maintaining good public relations. Advanced analytical skills necessary to develop and implement new systems, techniques and/or procedures that determine needs for capital equipment and personnel, improve the functioning of assigned departments, and prepare complex, special and recurring reports or analyses.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their salary range.
Salary Range:
$110,000 to $130,000 annually Wages are just one part of our employee compensation package.
