Cornerstone Residence of Kelliher is seeking a compassionate, organized, and people-focused Director to lead the daily operations of our assisted living community. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting residents, leading a dedicated team, and helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where people feel at home. In this leadership role, you will oversee staff hiring, onboarding, supervision, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations while ensuring high-quality services for residents. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.What You'll Do:
- Lead daily operations to ensure efficient, resident-centered services.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise staff while fostering a positive team culture.
- Ensure quality programs and services that enhance residents' comfort, safety, and quality of life.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement policies and practices that align with the mission and values of Cornerstone Residence.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners to support evolving care needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Current and unrestricted Assisted Living Director license (BELTSS), or the ability to obtain licensure within a year of hire.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related leadership or senior living role.
- Valid Minnesota driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local assisted living regulations, including landlord/resident laws.
- Experience working with senior populations.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Ability to develop supportive services and build community partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, families, and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
