An Assistant Living Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our assisted living community. This pivotal role combines leadership, operational management, and resident care to ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, nursing home experience, and management, with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. As an Assistant Living Director, you will work closely with staff, residents, and families to foster a warm community while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational excellence. Pay decided upon discussion! Responsibilities Lead and supervise staff to deliver exceptional assisted living services, including medication administration, care plans, and daily activities. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual resident requirements in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Manage daily facility operations including budgeting, staffing schedules, compliance with health regulations, and safety protocols. Foster strong relationships with residents' families by providing updates on care and addressing concerns promptly. Ensure adherence to all licensing requirements and quality standards related to long-term care and senior living environments. Promote a positive team culture through leadership development, supervising staff performance, and encouraging ongoing training in areas like social work and home & community care. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior care. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within long-term care settings or group homes. Strong understanding of operational management including budgeting, financial acumen, and compliance standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care is preferred. Valid licensure or certification relevant to nursing or social work is highly desirable; relevant certifications in assisted living or retirement home management are a plus.
