Lead Community Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care community Ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining high operational standards Monitor quality indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives Oversee budgets, labor management, operational efficiency, and resource allocation Build High-Performing Teams Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and frontline employees Foster a culture centered around accountability, teamwork, compassion, and service excellence Improve employee engagement, retention, and staffing stability Conduct performance coaching and leadership development conversations Create an Exceptional Resident Experience Partner with prospective residents and families throughout the move-in process Build trusted relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral partners, and community stakeholders Resolve concerns professionally while maintaining exceptional customer service Ensure residents feel respected, valued, and genuinely at home Drive Operational Excellence Maintain continuous survey readiness and regulatory compliance Oversee 6790 completion, service planning alignment, reimbursement oversight, and risk management Monitor operational metrics, incident reports, resident feedback, and staffing trends Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall community performance What Success Looks Like Employees stay because they feel supported, appreciated, and connected to the mission Residents and families consistently recommend the community to others Occupancy grows because of the community's reputation and resident experience New employees become long-term contributors through effective onboarding and coaching Survey readiness becomes part of the daily culture—not something addressed only before inspections Leaders throughout the building understand expectations and take ownership of results The community operates efficiently while never losing sight of compassionate, relationship-driven care What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Active Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license Leadership experience within Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living Operations Demonstrated success improving employee retention, resident satisfaction, occupancy, and operational performance Strong understanding of Minnesota Assisted Living regulations, compliance, and survey readiness Financial management experience including budgeting, labor management, and operational oversight Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong decision-making abilities and a proactive leadership style Lead a Community That People Are Proud to Call Home The strongest Housing Directors don't simply oversee operations.
