Reporting to the management team, you will leverage your leadership and supervising experience to foster a supportive environment that upholds residents' rights. Your core skills in operations management and home & community care, combined with premium expertise in senior care and dementia care, will enable you to enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Qualifications Current unrestricted Missouri Nursing home administrator license 3-5+ years leadership experience in residential care, assisted living, long-term care, or behavioral health facilities. Demonstrated experience serving residents with behavioral health conditions , including serious mental illness, dementia-related behaviors, substance use recovery, or dual diagnoses. Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, trauma-informed care, and resident rights within residential settings. Knowledge of residents' rights and advocacy Understanding of budgeting and financial management in care facilitiesResponsibilities Duties Oversee behavior management protocols , crisis response procedures, and staff training in de-escalation and safety techniques. Monitor and improve quality outcomes, incident reports, and behavioral care plans in collaboration with clinical teams. Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention, and staff development , particularly for high-acuity behavioral health populations. Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and operational efficiency of the facility. Build and maintain relationships with mental health providers, hospitals, referral partners, and community agencies . Support occupancy growth and admissions , ensuring appropriate placement for residents with behavioral health needs. Lead preparation for and response to state surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections .
