Job Summary:
As an Administrator, you will oversee the daily operations and management of a senior care facility, ensuring the highest level of care for residents. Your role will involve implementing care plans, leading a team, administering medications, and upholding resident rights within a group home setting.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide leadership to staff members in delivering dementia care, long-term care, and medication administration services.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Uphold resident rights and promote a culture of respect and dignity within the community.
  • Oversee home care services, including coordinating with healthcare providers and family members to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Monitor and record medication administration, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Ensure proper documentation of resident care activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Address any resident or family member inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in staff training programs to enhance skills in operations management and senior care services.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in senior care administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with group home operations, resident rights advocacy, and dementia care practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in senior care settings.
  • Experience in home care coordination and working with seniors in a compassionate manner.
  • Proficiency in operations management within a healthcare or residential setting.
