Group Home Manager positions are full-time Federal Wage and Hour positions to provide direct care supervision and support to adults residing in group homes.
Duties :
Provide direct care support and activities in conjunction with individualized plans to build skills, safety, daily living, socialization, and leisure provisions. Transport residents to work, activities, and appointments using agency vehicles. Run group home errands as directed. Maintain a clean and safe home environment. Follow standards governing licensure and operation of the home to include fire inspections, sanitation, and safety. Protect resident confidentiality and human rights. Participate in all assigned staff development and training to maintain required certifications such as First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration. Provide first responder crisis services in absence of supervisor or in times of emergencies. The agency may assign group home managers to either of our group homes to meet agency operation needs.
Hours :
Employee will work 40 regularly scheduled day hours from Wednesday evening through Saturday morning. This includes overnights with breaks during the day. Schedule may be subject to change to cover resident and staffing needs.
Pay and Benefits:
The regular 40-hour wage for this Federal Wage and Hour position starts at $16.50 per hour. The overnight sleep hours are an additional wage which brings annual earnings to approximately $40,000.00+ dependent upon actual hours worked. Accrued Vacation and Sick leave
Health, Dental and Life Insurance Benefits Requirements :
High School Diploma or Equivalent . Valid NC Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Submit to and have a satisfactory criminal background check and motor vehicle drivers check. Have experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Live within reasonable commuting distance and own reliable transportation.
