Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Manager to oversee operations within our group home facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of long-term care, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care. This role requires a blend of clinical knowledge and the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a compassionate environment for both staff and residents.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences
  • Supervise staff in medication administration and other clinical tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with families, residents, and healthcare providers to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
  • Monitor financial performance of the facility, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for staff .
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident care services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust within the community.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass background check, reference checks and drug screen
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within assisted living, group home or long-term care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and memory care principles.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Valid nursing license preferred; experience as a nurse is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care in a compassionate environment.
