Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Manager to oversee operations within our group home facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of long-term care, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care. This role requires a blend of clinical knowledge and the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a compassionate environment for both staff and residents.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences
- Supervise staff in medication administration and other clinical tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with families, residents, and healthcare providers to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
- Monitor financial performance of the facility, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for staff .
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust within the community.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass background check, reference checks and drug screen
- Proven experience in a leadership role within assisted living, group home or long-term care settings.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and memory care principles.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Valid nursing license preferred; experience as a nurse is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
