Job Description

Senior Living Executive Director We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Senior Living Executive Director to lead our senior care community. In this key leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of resident care, support staff performance, maintain regulatory compliance, and help drive the overall success of the community. You will foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, supported, and respected. Responsibilities Provide strong, resident-centered leadership that promotes independence, dignity, safety, and well-being. Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Supervise and support staff across departments, including coaching, training, performance management, discipline, and hiring. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and community policies. Manage Operations Director and Assistant Manager direct reports, as applicable. Oversee resident assessments, service plans, and ongoing care coordination to ensure appropriate support. Support Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care programming as needed. Manage resident services, medication oversight, and coordination with physicians and third-party providers. Maintain strong communication with residents, families, physicians, and outside partners regarding resident care and changes in condition. Investigate and respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns or complaints. Oversee incident reporting, abuse reporting, and regulatory notifications as required. Ensure the community building, grounds, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive condition. Lead marketing and referral development efforts to support resident acquisition and community growth. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, revenue management, and achievement of financial goals. Support eviction and transfer processes when appropriate and in accordance with policy and regulation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Active New Jersey Certified Assisted Living Administrator License required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, nursing home, or a related healthcare environment. Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a senior care or healthcare setting. Strong understanding of assisted living operations, resident services, and long-term care regulations. Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams, including caregivers, nursing staff, administrative staff, and support personnel. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, expense management, and operational planning. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor with a genuine desire to work with older adults. Nursing degree is a plus. Additional Requirements Must enjoy working with older adults and engaging with the local community. Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available on-call as needed. Must maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of resident care and staff matters. Pay:
$80,200.00 - $110,200.00 per year
