We are seeking a dedicated Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential group home while ensuring the health, safety, well-being, and personal growth of the individuals we support. Responsibilities As a Group Home Manager, you will: Oversee the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. Ensure residents receive quality medical, behavioral, and personal support services. Support residents in achieving their Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) goals and maximizing independence. Advocate for the rights, dignity, and personal choices of residents. Assist with household budgeting, resident finances, banking activities, and financial audits. Ensure compliance with DDD regulations, CARF standards, and agency policies and procedures. Supervise, coach, train, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and per diem staff. Participate in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff. Coordinate staff schedules, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Foster a positive team culture through effective communication, mentorship, and conflict resolution. Promote community integration and meaningful participation in neighborhood and community activities. Attend meetings, trainings, conferences, inspections, and other agency-related events as required. Ensure adequate staffing levels in accordance with agency and state requirements. Education & Experience Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of related experience; OR Associate's Degree and at least 3 years of related experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of related experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral needs. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of person-centered planning and community-based supports. Basic computer proficiency, including: Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Internet applications Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining regulatory compliance.
