Job Description

Job description : 21 Plus is looking for a Program Administrator to assume responsibility for the overall operation and quality of the group home program. The PA is responsible for providing care, supervision, training, and opportunities for growth to individuals at the group home; supervises, trains and assists group home staff. They work cooperatively with Senior Program Administrator to uphold agency mission, policy and licensing regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maximizing opportunities for community inclusion and assisting in the development of community resources that meet the needs, interest and abilities of individuals.
  • Providing input to the development of Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Personal Center Performance Tool (PCPT) at individual meetings.
  • Ensures a clean home setting for the individuals; Ensures that staff are completing assigned cleaning duties by completing a daily walk through of the program to maintain a clean healthy living environment of the home.
  • Working a flexible schedule including: days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays based on program needs and as scheduled; remaining on duty until relief staff arrives to ensure safety of individuals. (One evening and one swing shift per week and one weekend shift per month is required).
  • Maintaining site schedule including open shifts, Personal Time Off (PTO) request and securing adequate coverage.
  • Implement and utilize Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) and Individual Support Plan (ISP) to maximize the self-sufficiency and safety of individuals.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date information in the ECR, such as placement disruptions, outcomes, strategies etc.
  • Monitors, budgets and submits all finances for the program as required. Such as Food and Gas, Petty Cash and Personal Needs Account spreadsheets as well as monitoring online banking.
  • Scheduling and conducting medical appointments as well as testing, lab work and follow up as ordered by physician.
  • Completes Initial Employee Training (IET) paperwork with all new hires and submits them within required timeframe.
  • You must be able to pass all background checks including Drug screen, physical, PPD, fingerprints, DMV.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid NJ Driver's License with an acceptable record of safe driving
  • High School Diploma / GED (verifiable)
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related Field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year Supervisory Experience
  • Minimum of 4 year's experience in Human Services field, with at least 2 years being in a group home setting.
Agency Training 21 Plus, Inc requires all incoming new hires to complete an extensive hands-on Initial Employment Training (IET) Program. This program is developed with the help of the Division of Developmental Disabilities to ensure that all Direct Support Professional (DSP) Caregivers, whether in Day Program or Group Homes, can provide quality services to our individuals. This training course is 6 days (Weekdays Only) which is a mix of training between the Administration Office in Manchester and your assigned location. Times of training vary depending on which Training Program you fall into (Day and Evening Hours). In alignment with Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) requirements, completion of the required IET training within your first 30 days of employment ensures you have the knowledge and tools to succeed and deliver exceptional care in our community. Please note that completing the training may require working outside of your regular scheduled hours to meet all requirements.
