Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead Saint Mark's Terrace, a vibrant community dedicated to providing exceptional senior care and support in two locations in Yates County, NY. The Penn Yan facility houses 101 residents and the Dundee facility houses 39 individuals. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, and fostering a positive environment for residents, staff, and families alike. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive experience in human services, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Duties Responsible for the daily operations, human resource relations, meeting the needs residents, financial performance, and regulatory compliance including HUD Creates and executes St. Mark's Terrace philosophy, and empowers employees to excel and be team-oriented in achieving exceptional standards Demonstrates a high degree of financial acumen as it relates to operations; works to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and proactively creates plans to overcome unanticipated expenses or revenue shortfalls Coordinates maintenance standards of the facilities with the Maintenance Director, according to policy and state requirements Ensures human resources are maintained with appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents and in accordance with applicable legal requirements by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff in all departments Drives sales and marketing efforts to meet or exceed occupancy or revenue targets by developing new business, generating leads, and building strategic relationships Represent St. Mark's Terrace to governmental agencies (as appropriate), professional organizations, community groups, and other appropriate agencies and groups Maintains applicable licenses, and reporting in accordance with HUD, and other federal, state, and local agency requirements Requires occasional travel Communicates with and participates in scheduled meetings with the Board of Directors Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to foster a motivated and competent team. Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations. Promote a safe environment by implementing health & safety policies and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies. Qualifications At least three years of progressive management experience A bachelor's degree preferred Experience with HUD policy and reporting requirements preferred Must have a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
