Job Description

A reputable, established healthcare facility in Ohio is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee daily operations while cultivating a culture of trust, accountability, and team cohesion. This leader will play a key role in strengthening alignment within the existing staff, mentoring team members, and guiding the facility toward continued operational and clinical success. The Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Administrator oversees daily facility operations in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role provides leadership across financial performance, human resources, business development, facility operations, and patient satisfaction while ensuring high-quality care and organizational goals are met. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in skilled nursing leadership, along with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, financial performance, and quality outcomes. Success in this role will depend on the ability to partner closely with the current team to support future growth, while also leveraging established relationships—or building new business connections—within the local market to enhance census and community presence. For confidential consideration, please apply directly. Responsibilities and Duties Lead day-to-day facility operations in alignment with organizational goals. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards. Oversee surveys, QAPI programs, patient rights, and initiatives related to abuse prevention, confidentiality, and quality of care. Maintain knowledge of clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements including CMS standards, HIPAA, admissions, transfers, discharge planning, and infection control. Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively. Promote strong communication across management and staff. Lead recruitment, staff development, performance management, retention, and corrective action processes. Maintain knowledge of employment laws and company policies. Manage operating and capital budgets and oversee key financial processes including billing, payroll, reimbursements, collections, and accounts payable. Support revenue generation and overall financial performance. Maintain facility, grounds, and equipment to high presentation and safety standards. Build relationships with community partners, referral sources, medical professionals, and other healthcare organizations. Support marketing, public relations, and market growth strategies. Lead internal investigations as needed. Coach and develop leaders and team members through clear, direct, and supportive feedback. Promote a positive, service-oriented culture focused on excellence. Protect the legal, financial, and ethical well-being of the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of the assigned facility, or ability to obtain licensure upon hire or transfer. Active license in good standing throughout employment. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field. Two years of skilled nursing facility administration experience preferred. Valid driver's license. Willingness and ability to relocate if needed. Physical Requirements Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about.
