Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Children's Group Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility dedicated to supporting children with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or special health needs. In this vital role, you will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where children receive personalized care, educational support, and emotional stability. Your leadership will foster a team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering high-quality services that promote growth, independence, and well-being for every resident. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while managing the operational aspects of a dynamic group home setting. Duties Manage all aspects of the group home's daily operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and organizational policies Supervise and support staff including caregivers, social workers, nurses, and administrative personnel to maintain high-performance standards Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, including medical management and behavioral interventions Oversee medication administration procedures to ensure safety and accuracy in accordance with healthcare regulations Coordinate with families, healthcare providers, schools, and community agencies to facilitate comprehensive support for residents Monitor budgetary responsibilities including staffing schedules, supplies, and facility maintenance to ensure efficient resource utilization Lead staff training initiatives on topics such as assisted living practices, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and resident safety protocols Skills Extensive experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior or memory care populations Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in group home or residential care settings Strong understanding of care plans development for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions Knowledge of medication administration procedures and healthcare regulations governing long-term care facilities Excellent operational management skills including budgeting, staff scheduling, and resource allocation Ability to foster a compassionate environment while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare teams, regulatory agencies, and community partners Must Have a verifiable bachelors degree and transcripts.
