The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in long-term care and memory care settings. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident rights and well-being. Duties Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and resident satisfaction. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff to provide effective dementia care and support for residents with memory-related conditions. Ensure that all staff members are trained in resident rights and uphold these principles in daily interactions. Conduct regular assessments of facility performance and implement improvements as needed. Foster a positive culture among staff, residents, and families through effective communication and engagement strategies. Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to enhance service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in operations management within a nursing home or long-term care environment. Strong understanding of senior care practices, including memory care and dementia care. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Knowledge of resident rights regulations and commitment to upholding these standards.
