Job Summary:
The ICF Home Manager supports the QIDP in the daily operations of a Small Intermediate Care Facility. This role provides supervision and coaching to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensures consistent implementation of person-centered services and active treatment, and supports staffing coordination, health and safety oversight, and regulatory compliance. The Home Manager serves as a hands-on leader who models best practices and promotes the Ministry's mission and Christian values.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, coach, and support DSPs to ensure consistent implementation of ISPs and daily services and supports. Prepare and adjust staff schedules to maintain appropriate coverage. Support onboarding, training, and performance feedback for DSP staff. Promote a structured, person-centered home environment that encourages independence and goal achievement. Monitor health, safety, documentation, and compliance standards; report concerns to the QIDP. Assist with household resources, individual funds, and daily operational needs. Maintain professional communication with families and service partners. Provide direct support during staffing shortages or emergencies. Participate in Ministry initiatives, committees, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one (1) year experience in an I/DD or related setting required. Prior scheduling, training, or supervisory experience preferred. CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required within 30 days. Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
