Job Description

Memory Care Director Duties and Responsibilities :
Oversee daily operations of the Memory Care unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resident care. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' cognitive and physical needs. Train, mentor, and support memory care staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to families and leadership. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including safety and care standards. Plan and oversee engaging activities and programs designed for memory care residents. Collaborate with the broader leadership team to maintain a resident-centered community.
Memory Care Director Qualifications and Skills :
Experience in memory care, dementia care, or senior living nursing management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of best practices for Alzheimer's and dementia care. Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused mindset. Ability to mentor and inspire a team of caregivers. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation requirements. Must be a licensed LPN or RN.
