I/DD Group Home Manager 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Gresham, OR 97030 $55,000 a year - Full-time Up and Out, Inc. 19 reviews $55,000 a year - Full-time Job Summary The Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and success of residential programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). In this role, you will supervise staff, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and support residents in achieving their personal, social, medical, and psychological goals. By focusing on independence, well-being, and community belonging, you'll directly contribute to improving residents' quality of life.
Main Responsibilities:
Supervise and train staff to ensure the highest standard of care Develop and implement service plans that promote residents' independence and well-being Coordinate medical appointments, medication management, and address medical emergencies Plan and facilitate social and recreational activities, promoting community integration Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies Manage scheduling, documentation, and reporting for residents and staff Serve as the point of contact for families, agencies, and community partners Participate in on-call duties to handle emergencies and ensure continuous care
Qualifications:
A passion for supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities Associate's degree in human services or at least 2 years of relevant experience in a residential setting Previous supervisory experience, ideally in a care-based environment Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Knowledge of behavior management and Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) training is preferred Valid driver's license, insurance, and willingness to be available for on-call duties About you!
