Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to care standards. Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized care plans for residents, addressing their unique needs and preferences. Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and professional team. Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources to support quality resident care. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, dementia care, and long-term care facilities. Administer medications safely according to prescribed protocols and maintain accurate medication records. Foster positive relationships with residents' families and guardians to promote transparency and collaborative care planning. Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and community agencies to enhance resident well-being and access additional services as needed. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home management with a focus on senior or memory care residents. Strong background in managing long-term care environments with supervisory experience in healthcare or social services settings. Knowledge of dementia care practices, Alzheimer's support strategies, and developing effective care plans. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting, operations management, and compliance oversight. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety procedures for vulnerable populations.
