Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of a long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, foster a positive environment for residents and staff, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, promote resident well-being, and support a collaborative team dedicated to compassionate care. Duties Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including specialized dementia and memory care programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulations, long-term care policies, and safety standards. Supervise nursing staff and healthcare professionals, providing leadership in nursing practices, medication administration, and resident care quality assurance. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing processes, and healthcare financial oversight to sustain operational stability. Foster a positive environment that promotes resident dignity, independence, and quality of life while supporting staff development through training and mentorship. Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and support services. Experience Proven leadership experience in nursing home administration or long-term care management with a strong understanding of healthcare operations. Extensive assisted living experience combined with nursing home experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's or dementia-related conditions. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, health regulation policies, and compliance standards governing senior care facilities. Hands-on experience developing care plans for residents with complex needs including memory care and dementia care. Strong background in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational management within a senior or retirement home setting. Supervising experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare or group home environment is essential. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and home & community care services is preferred.
