Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, development, management, and operation of the community. This role encompasses oversight of personnel management, day-to-day and long-term operations, regulatory compliance, and the cultivation of ongoing relationships with referral agencies. The Executive Director is fully accountable for the community's financial performance, asset management, accounting compliance, resident satisfaction, public relations, sales and marketing, human resources, and staff training and development. This position is also responsible for the development and oversight of the annual operating budget and for ensuring strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and community policies and procedures. Ultimately, the Executive Director ensures the community consistently meets or exceeds operational and financial objectives.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the community Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing and regulatory requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors, including buildings, grounds, and equipment Recruit, hire, manage, and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents and the facility Collaborate with marketing staff to secure referrals and drive admissions Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual operating budget Address and resolve resident and family concerns in a timely and professional manner Monitor and support sales and marketing initiatives Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standardsQUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, staffing, and scheduling Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities Proficiency in computer applications and internet-based systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or a related field preferred Three to five years of experience in long-term care, senior living, or a related field Demonstrated experience supervising and managing staff Experience with financial reporting and/or P&L management Independent Living experience is a plusJob Type:
