Job Description

Position:
Home Manager Reports to: Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)

Non- Exempt Purpose:
Insure health and safety of consumers by effectively managing homes staff, supplies and programs at group home.
Essential Functions:
Assure homes are maintained in a neat and clean manner. Assure homes are staffed appropriately each day. Provide back-up transportation and doctor's appointments as needed. Assure data collected appropriately on Individual Program Plans and Medication Administration Records. Assure Trust Fund requests, purchases and receipts are maintained per policy. Manage and reconcile activity funds for home. Managed home expenses within budget. Maintain a current CPR card. Act as home manager on-call per rotating schedule. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Graduation or G.E.D. required.
Experience/ Knowledge/Skills:
At least 6 months related experience in field of intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred. Valid Texas Driver's License required and acceptable driving record within company insurance guidelines. Must maintain current CPR card within 1 month of hire date.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift or support approximately 75 lbs either assisted or unassisted. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time up to and including 8 hours. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach overhead. Must be able to perform an emergency physical restraint with a consumer. Must be able to complete CPR.

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
