This role involves managing staff, implementing care plans, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Duties Oversee the overall operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with health regulations. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on areas such as dementia care and memory care. Supervise and support staff in their roles, providing guidance on medication administration and resident care. Ensure that all staff members are trained in best practices for senior care and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor resident health and adjust care plans as necessary. Manage budgets effectively to ensure the financial health of the facility while maintaining high standards of care. Foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting teamwork and open communication. Skills Proven experience in managing group homes or retirement homes is preferred. Strong understanding of dementia care principles and memory care strategies. Proficient in medication administration protocols and supervising healthcare staff. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and developing team members. Knowledge of creating and implementing effective care plans for seniors. Strong budgeting skills to manage financial resources efficiently. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
