Job Description

Careers Responsibilities :
Provide Case Management and Mentoring Services to young adults in CIL. Provide transportation and drive time to assist with hours needed to obtain a driver's license Assist in overseeing the housing units for CIL young adults. Coordinate and support clients in transitioning to independent living environments, including assisting with securing housing, planning and facilitating moves into dormitory or apartment settings, and ensuring clients are adequately prepared for successful placement.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
:
Full Time, Non Exempt PAY :
$21.15/hr based on experience On-call responsibilities for crisis management and support, which might involve irregular hours, covering shifts as needed
Job Specific Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related human service field with: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in residential or childcare-related areas, gained through employment or practicum placements during an undergraduate program. OR A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in residential or childcare-related areas, gained through employment or practicum placements during an undergraduate program General Qualifications for
All Employees of The Children's Home of Lubbock:
Must be 21 years of age per licensing standards. Be able to read, write and communicate with co-workers, medical personnel and other persons necessary to care for the young adult's needs. Have a Valid Texas Driver's License. Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adult in care. Meet the requirements of licensing standards in regards to a criminal background check. Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks. Commit to the seven values of
