This dynamic role requires a passionate leader committed to providing exceptional care for children while ensuring compliance with licensing standards and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. The LCCA will manage staff, develop care plans, and coordinate with families to deliver high-quality early childhood education and development programs. Duties Supervise daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring adherence to licensing regulations and quality standards Lead, train, and evaluate staff members to promote professional growth and maintain high standards of care Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each child's developmental needs, including those requiring specialized support such as Alzheimer's or dementia care when applicable Oversee medication administration procedures and health protocols to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate with families to provide updates on children's progress, address concerns, and foster positive relationships Manage facility budgets, oversee inventory of supplies, and ensure efficient resource utilization Maintain accurate documentation related to licensing requirements, staff records, incident reports, and care plans Qualifications Valid licensure as a Child Care Administrator (LCCA) or equivalent certification required Proven experience in licensed child care settings, including group home or retirement home environments preferred Strong background in senior care, assisted living, nursing home experience, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, and Alzheimer's care practices Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in home & community care or long-term care environments Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and operational tasks effectively Familiarity with medication administration protocols and health & safety regulations in child care settings Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and community partners Join us in creating a safe, nurturing space where children can thrive!
