Experienced admin assistant for Home Health Agency

Position Summary Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a skilled home health agency (required) . This role supports intake, communication, coordination, and administrative operations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. •Applicants without the required experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Manage patient intake, referrals, and scheduling Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-ups, and communication Verify Medicare, Medicaid, insurance eligibility, benefits, and track authorizations Use WellSky/Kinnser and CarePort proficiently Coordinate with physicians, nurses, case managers and staff Support staffing, HR coordination, and administrative leadership tasks as needed Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Requirements MUST have proven skilled home health agency experience (required) Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, VDH, and CHAP standards Experience with WellSky/Kinnser and CarePort (required) Understanding of authorizations, compliance workflows, and audit processes Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and customer service skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Ability to commute to Fairfax, VA (required) Fluent professional

American English Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
