In this role, you will support the daily operations of animal care, assist with animal handling, training, and medical care to ensure our animals receive the highest standards of care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of animals while contributing to a positive visitor experience. Responsibilities Assist in the daily care of both domestic and exotic animals Medical care, including giving injections Handle animals safely using proper techniques to ensure their well-being at all times. Maintain accurate records of animal health, behavior, and feeding schedules. Support operations by cleaning enclosures, monitoring animal health, and managing supplies. Engage with visitors by answering questions about animals, providing educational information, and ensuring a positive experience. Basic office/computer tasks Experience 2 years working with large animals 2 years providing medical care, including injections 2 years paid management experience Degree in related field
