NC AND VA--LICENSED NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR
(LNHA) Lead with Purpose. Make a Difference Every Day. An established skilled nursing and rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to provide operational leadership and oversight for a long term care center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of facility operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality resident care, financial performance, employee engagement, and community relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a results driven leader who is passionate about resident outcomes and building strong teams. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all daily facility operations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Foster a culture focused on quality care, customer service, and employee engagement Lead department directors and interdisciplinary teams to achieve operational and clinical goals Monitor and improve quality measures, survey readiness, and risk management initiatives Develop and manage operating budgets and financial performance objectives Promote strong resident, family, physician, and community relationships Oversee staffing, workforce development, retention, and employee relations efforts Support census growth initiatives and community outreach programs Ensure resident rights, dignity, and quality of life remain a top priority Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the applicable state, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment Bachelor's degree required; degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility, long term care setting, or healthcare environment Strong knowledge of long term care regulations, survey process, reimbursement systems, and quality measures Proven leadership, communication, financial management, and team development skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced healthcare environment Preferred Experience Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) operations Survey management and regulatory compliance Budgeting and financial oversight Census development and customer relations Employee engagement and retention strategies Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) What We Offer Competitive salary and bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Professional development and growth opportunities Supportive leadership environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents, families, and staff Equal Opportunity Employer Qualified candidates who are passionate about leadership, quality care, and operational excellence are encouraged to apply.
