Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care management, with expertise in assisted living, nursing home administration, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering high-quality resident care. The successful applicant will be committed to fostering a safe, compassionate environment that promotes residents' well-being and dignity. Duties Lead the overall management of the facility, including operations, staffing, and financial oversight. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations governing long-term care facilities. Oversee medication administration processes and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning to maintain operational efficiency. Foster positive relationships with residents' families and community partners to enhance quality of life for residents. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in resident care services and staff development. Experience Proven experience in nursing home or assisted living facility management with a focus on senior care. Extensive background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing clinical teams and support staff in a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of care planning, dementia care strategies, and medication management. Prior experience in operations management within long-term care or home & community care environments. Knowledge of budgeting, financial acumen, and resource management specific to healthcare facilities. Familiarity with group home settings or retirement homes is advantageous. Valid state licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator is required to ensure regulatory compliance. Pay:
$130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
