Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

$175k-$275k
THE ROLE
You will lead the facility beyond "survival mode", to a culture of quality and stability.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE FACILITY THE FOUNDATION
Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license issued by the State . License in good standing with no active probation or substantiated violations.
THE JOURNEY
Minimum 1 year as a lead NHA in a skilled nursing facility. Proven track record of maintaining quality measures (or demonstrable improvement trajectory). Experience managing P&L, census development, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. Successfully led state and federal surveys with minimal or well-managed citations.
THE CRAFT
Deep fluency in state regulations and federal CMS requirements . Be a true operational partner to the Director of Nursing. Staff a weekend without begging. Financial acumen.
THE CHARACTER
Calm yet authoritative during a survey. Handles family and resident concerns with empathy and sound judgment. Treats all staff with equal respect. Builds a culture where staff feel valued.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Oversee all daily operations, including clinical care, staffing, and regulatory compliance. Manage state and federal surveys, implement Plans of Correction, and drive quality measures. Drive occupancy through community outreach, physician relations, and family satisfaction. Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure timely Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. Lead and mentor department heads.
