We are seeking an experienced, hands-on leader who builds strong teams, creates sustainable systems, and delivers results through consistent execution rather than constant intervention. This role is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the community including resident and family experience, team leadership, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial performance, occupancy, and maintaining a culture of accountability and support. Our ideal leader understands that excellent senior living operations are built through follow-through, communication, visibility, and developing others to succeed. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations of the assisted living and memory care community Build and support department leaders while maintaining clear accountability and expectations Maintain operational systems, reporting structures, routines, and follow-up processes Ensure excellent resident, family, and employee experience through visible and responsive leadership Drive occupancy, retention, recruitment, and community reputation Monitor labor, expenses, purchasing, and budget performance Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and company standards Identify operational barriers and implement practical, sustainable solutions Create systems that remain active and effective after implementation Partner with ownership on priorities, initiatives, and strategic direction What Success Looks Like Teams understand expectations and execute consistently Operational systems are maintained without repeated follow-up Leaders coach, train, and hold teams accountable Customer concerns are addressed proactively Staff turnover remains manageable and culture remains stable Residents experience a community that feels organized, welcoming, and well run Problems are surfaced early and ownership of solutions exists throughout the organization Qualifications Executive Director, Administrator, Regional, or comparable leadership experience in Washington state required. Assisted Living and/or Memory Care leadership experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience leading exempt and non-exempt teams Strong organizational and project execution skills Ability to coach, develop, and influence teams Experience managing staffing, budgets, customer experience, and compliance Comfortable balancing support, accountability, and operational urgency Leadership Style This is a leadership role for someone who is visible, decisive, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate understands how to support teams while also maintaining accountability and expectations.
