Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor to join our educational team. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of comprehensive CNA training programs, equipping future healthcare professionals with essential skills in patient care, medical terminology, and nursing procedures. Your expertise will inspire adult learners and foster a positive learning environment that emphasizes practical application, critical thinking, and compassionate care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of nursing assistants while utilizing your extensive clinical and teaching experience. Duties Design, develop, and update CNA curriculum incorporating current healthcare standards, research, and learning technology such as Blackboard and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Deliver engaging classroom instruction to diverse adult learners, including students from higher education backgrounds and those with hospital or clinical experience Supervise student clinical rotations in teaching hospitals or healthcare facilities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards Evaluate student performance through documentation review, skill assessments, and practical exams; provide constructive feedback to support growth Facilitate discussions on topics like nursing administration, patient care plans, acute care, ICU experience, pediatrics, senior care, primary care, and phlebotomy Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and competency documentation in compliance with accreditation standards Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure quality training experiences that meet industry requirements and foster research opportunities in nursing education Qualifications Proven supervising experience in clinical or educational settings within healthcare environments Strong knowledge of LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar learning technology tools Prior teaching hospital experience or involvement in adult education programs preferred Familiarity with curriculum development for nursing assistant training programs Extensive background in nursing practice including patient care, medical terminology, acute care, ICU experience, pediatrics, senior care, primary care, and nursing administration Experience working with students in classroom or clinical settings; ability to mentor and motivate adult learners Knowledge of documentation review processes related to competency assessments and care plans Demonstrated understanding of research methodologies relevant to nursing education and healthcare practices Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for teaching and fostering professional growth Join us to shape compassionate caregivers who excel in delivering high-quality patient-centered care!
