UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING REQUIREMENTS
Prelicensure:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing (Master's preferred) and one (1) year of full-time continuous experience in the last five (5) years as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in the area assigned to teach or one (1) academic year of RN-level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area; and Current and unencumbered RN license issued by the CA BRN Appointment is subject to CA BRN approval Current and valid CPR/BLS certification and immunizations as required by the clinical agency Demonstrates sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of college students and the campus community.Post-licensure:

FNP Program:
A Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field and national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner; and At least (1) one year of current and related nurse practitioner experience Current and unencumbered RN and NP license issued by the CA BRN Current and valid CPR/BLS certification Demonstrates sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of college students and the campus community. Rank and Salary Full-time is a 15-unit workload per semester. Actual salary is dependent upon the number of units assigned, educational preparation, and availability of funds subject to any CSU system faculty contract salary increases. Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
$5,507- $6,677 per full-time month.
School:
Temporary Faculty with three-year appointments do not need to reapply.
