Evening Hybrid position Monday - Friday Instructor will be on campus will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings Our client company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Instructor to join their educational team. The Nursing Instructor will provide high-quality instruction to adult and post-secondary students while preparing future healthcare professionals for successful careers in nursing. This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping students achieve academic and professional success. The ideal Nursing Instructor will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that promotes student achievement. Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or actively working toward completion Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage diverse student populations Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize instructional technology Responsibilities include: Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for nursing students Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state and program standards Evaluate student performance through classroom instruction, clinical evaluations, and skills assessments Maintain accurate student records, attendance, grades, and required documentation Promote a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Utilize current technology and instructional best practices to enhance learning Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement Collaborate with faculty, administration, healthcare employers, and community partners Participate in advisory committee meetings, accreditation activities, and professional development Support student recruitment, retention, certification preparation, and career readiness Represent the program at school and community events as needed Benefits may include: Competitive Salary Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Florida Retirement System (FRS) Paid Holidays Paid Sick and Personal Leave Professional Development Opportunities Tuition Assistance (where applicable) Stable Career with Growth Opportunities The Nursing Instructor plays an essential role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals by combining clinical expertise with exceptional instruction and mentorship.
