Job DescriptionJob Description Premier International College invites applications for full time and part-time Practical Nursing (PN) Instructor positions. This is a 12-month appointment, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Candidates with clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, community/public health, or mental health nursing are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will primarily teach theory, laboratory, and clinical courses within the Practical Nursing (PN) program. Premier International College is committed to excellence in education, innovation in teaching, and community service. Faculty are expected to deliver high-quality instruction, adapt to evolving healthcare needs, and support student success through effective and engaging teaching practices. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teach theory, laboratory, and clinical courses in the Practical Nursing (PN) programSupervise and evaluate students in clinical settingsProvide academic advising and mentorship to studentsParticipate in curriculum development and program improvementSupport accreditation and regulatory compliance activitiesEngage in institutional and community serviceCollaborate with faculty and clinical partners to enhance student learningUtilize technology and, where applicable, support blended or online learning Required Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid and current practicing licenseBachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (preferred; diploma with strong experience may be considered depending on regulations)Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experienceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationEligibility to practice and/or teach nursing in the Florida Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience in a nursing or healthcare training institutionExperience in practical nursing educationExpertise in medical-surgical, community health, or mental health nursingExperience with simulation-based teachingFamiliarity with online or blended learning methods Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on nursing skillsExcellent communication and teaching abilitiesAbility to mentor and support diverse learnersProficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, learning platforms)Understanding of professional nursing standards and ethical practiceAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentCommitment to continuous professional development and student success Company DescriptionPremiere International College (PIC) is dedicated to honing compassionate and skilled degrees.
