Help Shape the Future of Healthcare Education Orlando School of Nursing (OSN) is seeking passionate, experienced, and student-focused nursing professionals to join our growing academic team as a Full-Time Nursing Faculty member. This is an exciting opportunity to educate, mentor, and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals in a collaborative and mission-driven educational environment. At OSN, our faculty play a vital role in supporting student success, maintaining academic excellence, and preparing graduates to enter the healthcare field with confidence, compassion, and clinical competence. Position Summary The Full-Time Nursing Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in classroom, laboratory, simulation, clinical, and/or hybrid learning environments. Faculty are expected to foster student engagement, support academic progression, maintain instructional integrity, and contribute to program success. This position works under the leadership of the Dean of Nursing and collaborates closely with academic leadership and fellow faculty members to ensure an exceptional educational experience for students. Essential Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective nursing instruction aligned with course objectives and curriculum standards Facilitate learning in classroom, laboratory, simulation, clinical, online, and/or hybrid settings Evaluate student performance and provide timely, individualized feedback Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and academic records Support student retention, progression, and success through active communication and mentorship Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and institutional initiatives Maintain compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and Florida Board of Nursing requirements Foster a professional, respectful, and student-centered learning environment Collaborate with academic leadership and faculty to support program excellence Qualifications Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida Advanced nursing education, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred Prior teaching, training, clinical instruction, or precepting experience preferred Strong clinical nursing background Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Passion for nursing education and student success Experience with instructional technology and learning management systems preferred The addition of "interpersonal" strengthens the communication competency language often expected in faculty postings.
