We are expanding our faculty team as we grow our healthcare training programs, including Phlebotomy and EKG. Our mission is to raise the standards of patient care by providing students with high-quality training, practical skills, and career pathways through The Nurse's Ladder . Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Nurse, either LPN or RN , with a passion for education and healthcare training to serve as faculty for our Phlebotomy and EKG programs . The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, dependable, and committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals with both technical skills and confidence.
Schedule Morning shift:
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Approximately 4 hours per day, 4 days per week Compensation $30-$35 per hour , based on license, experience, and teaching ability. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging instruction for Phlebotomy and EKG courses. Teach classroom, lab, and hands-on skills according to curriculum standards. Train students in proper phlebotomy techniques, safety procedures, infection control, specimen handling, and patient safety. Teach basic EKG concepts, lead placement, patient preparation, cardiac monitoring fundamentals, and rhythm recognition basics. Support and mentor students to ensure mastery of both knowledge and hands-on skills. Maintain accurate student attendance, evaluations, and competency records. Follow school policies, curriculum requirements, and regulatory standards. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and program growth initiatives as needed. Qualifications Active Florida LPN or RN license in good standing. At least 2 years of recent healthcare experience . Experience with Phlebotomy, EKG, patient care, or clinical procedures. Strong communication and leadership skills. Professional, dependable, and student-centered. Passion for student success and professional growth. Preferred, Not Required Prior teaching or training experience. Phlebotomy or EKG teaching experience. Bilingual.
