Purpose:
Teach a 4/4 load each semester in various courses in the College Curriculum to include: Mind and Heart, College Seminar, Common Good, Moreau Seminar and Capstone Seminar.
Typical Schedule :
This is a 9-month, full-time faculty, term appointment at the rank of Instructor.
Essential Job Duties:
Moreau Seminar and Capstone Seminar Director and Instructor (3-Fall/3-Spring) Mind and Heart Seminar (1-Fall) /College Seminar or Common Good Seminar (1-Spring) Participation in College Curriculum Planning Meetings for Development of the revised Moreau Seminar and Capstone for Fall 2027. Participate in the life of the College by serving on administrative committees and attending important events, such as Welcome Weekend, Faculty-Staff Convocation, Constitution Day, Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate Mass, and Commencement. Other responsibilities may be assigned to meet the needs of the Department and College.
Minimum Education, Skills, and Ability:
Master's degree required. Previous college teaching experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population. Positive work experience in a Catholic college environment preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the Holy Cross College mission.
